The Raffles Institute for Experiential Learning (RIEL) is part of Raffles Institution, Singapore. RIEL was set up in 2006 to enhance student development programmes through pedagogy and capability development.

As an Institute devoted to the development of character and values, RIEL aims to contribute significantly to the development of experiential education in Singapore schools, focusing on pedagogy and programme development in the following areas:

  • Community and Citizenship Education
  • Diversity Education
  • Outdoor and Environment Education
  • Personal Development
